The turntable, the receiver, the speakers. You carefully
selected all the parts for your stereo, finding the right pieces to complete
the puzzle. You sat in front of it and listened to it for hours, playing your
favorite records. It’s a huge part of your youth and takes you back to a point
in time.
However, all the components for your stereo are pieces of
technology, and technology is bound to, over time, need repaired. If your
stereo has seen better days, are you leaning toward starting from scratch or
contacting a vintage stereo
repair expert? There are certainly benefits toward opting for the latter:
·
It will probably take less time for the repairs
to be done than it would be to track down a particular receiver, speaker,
turntable, amp or other piece
·
Starting from scratch often costs much more than
it does to have the piece repaired
·
You are repairing YOUR stereo, and not just
replacing it with something that wasn’t there with you for all those years
